These terms govern your use of stratecode.tools (the "site"), operated by Strategic Code Solutions SL ("StrateCode", "we"). By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The identification details of the operator are in the legal notice.
1. The service
The site offers free online tools for developers, together with explanations and guides. No registration is needed. The tools run in your browser; we do not receive the content you enter into them (see the privacy policy). We may add, change or remove tools at any time.
2. What you may do
You may use the tools for personal or commercial purposes, including at work, and use the results they produce without restriction. You keep all rights to the content you enter and to the output generated from it.
3. What you may not do
- Use the site to break the law or to infringe the rights of others.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the site, for example by overloading it with automated requests or trying to access systems you are not authorised to access.
- Copy the site's articles, explanations or design and republish them as your own, or frame the site so that it appears to be someone else's.
- Use generated test data (for example test card numbers or IBANs) to deceive anyone or to attempt real transactions. Generated data is only for software testing.
4. Accuracy of results
We test the tools and try to keep them correct, but results can contain errors, especially with unusual input, and explanations may become outdated as standards change. The tools are provided to help with development, debugging and testing. Check important results with another method before relying on them in production, for security decisions or with legal or financial consequences.
5. Availability
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend it for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control.
6. Liability
The site is provided free of charge and "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, lost profits or lost data arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site or its results. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or the rights you have as a consumer.
7. Intellectual property
The site's texts, design, logo and the StrateCode brand belong to Strategic Code Solutions SL or are used under licence. The tools use open-source libraries, which remain subject to their own licences. You may link to any page of the site.
8. Advertising and third-party links
The site may show advertising and links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of advertisers or linked sites. See the advertising disclosure.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The version published on this page, with its date, is the one that applies.
10. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be settled by the courts of Madrid, Spain, unless you are a consumer and the law gives you the right to go to the courts of your place of residence.
